Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is much better than Galaxy M53 5G, getting a global score of 86.5 against 76.7. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but the Galaxy M31 has the older 11 version and Galaxy M53 5G has Android 12 version. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it's also much older, just a little heavier and somewhat thicker.
Galaxy M31 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a little bit higher count of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
Galaxy M31 has a very superior performance than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G. They have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy M31 takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, because although it has a much less MP back camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor.
Galaxy M31 features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
