The Samsung Galaxy M31s is much better than the Galaxy M53 5G, with an 88 score against 76.7. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M31s has older 11 version while Galaxy M53 5G has Android 12 version. The Samsung Galaxy M31s is an older, somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker phone than Galaxy M53 5G.
Galaxy M31s has an extremely better processing unit than Galaxy M53 5G. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores. Galaxy M31s counts with a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy M31s shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy M53 5G, because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
