The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8, getting a general score of 81.1 against 76. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is much older and a little bit thicker than the OnePlus 8, it's construction is still a little bit lighter. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little higher count of pixels in each inch in the display.

The OnePlus 8 has a slightly better memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The OnePlus 8 counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 4 more cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.

OnePlus 8 counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 4300mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh. OnePlus 8 shoots way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also has higher video frame rate, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution and a larger diafragm aperture.

Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also cheap compared to the OnePlus 8.
