IPhone XS Max has a global score of 84.5, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's overall score of 81.2. Even though the iPhone XS Max is heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it's a little thinner and way newer. IPhone XS Max counts with a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU, a higher number of cores and more RAM.
IPhone XS Max has a display that's very similar to the screen in Samsung Galaxy Note 3, although the iPhone XS Max also has a higher resolution of 1242 x 2688, a just a bit more pixels per inch of display and a quite bigger screen. The Galaxy Note 3 has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Note 3 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB.
Apple iPhone XS Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 both count with extremely similar battery durations, although the Apple iPhone XS Max has a 1% smaller battery capacity. The iPhone XS Max takes clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a less megapixels resolution camera and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a larger aperture.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Note 3, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
