Galaxy Note 3 is a little bit better than Google Nexus 5, having a general score of 81.2 against 76. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has the newer 5.0 version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version, providing you some nice extra features. The Galaxy Note 3 design is just a bit thinner but a lot heavier than the Google Nexus 5, and they were released with only a few months difference.

The Google Nexus 5's processor is just as good as Galaxy Note 3's processing unit, and although the Google Nexus 5 has lesser RAM memory, they both have a 450 megahertz graphics processing unit and the same number of cores. Google Nexus 5 has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Note 3 captures better videos and photos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a larger aperture for better low light images and video, a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a way more megapixels camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a really longer battery performance than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 39% larger battery size.
