Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is slightly better than the Motorola DROID Turbo, having an 81.2 score against 77.9. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version while Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, so it provides you some nice extra features and increased performance. Samsung Galaxy Note 3's design is a bit lighter and incredibly thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo, even though it was released about a year before.

The Motorola DROID Turbo has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Motorola DROID Turbo features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM and 4 processing cores, the Motorola DROID Turbo also has a faster graphics co-processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB. Motorola DROID Turbo has greater battery duration than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3900mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh.

Motorola DROID Turbo takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has lower 24 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light photos and video and a camera with way more megapixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola DROID Turbo. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Motorola DROID Turbo, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
