The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3's score of 81.2. Although Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it's just a little thinner and also a lot newer. Both phones in this comparison review have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's processor is very similar to the Galaxy Note 3 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little smaller screen and a little lower pixel density.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a lot bigger diafragm aperture, a back camera with more mega-pixels and a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The Galaxy A8 Star features a better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy A8 Star has just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery size.
