Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is slightly better than the Google Nexus 5, having an 81.6 score against 76. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a newer 5.0 version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version, giving you some nice extra features. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a lot heavier than Google Nexus 5, it's just a little bit thinner and newer.

The Galaxy Note 4 features a bit superior processing unit than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a faster graphics processor working at 500 megahertz and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note 4 counts with just a bit better looking display than Google Nexus 5, because it has a quite bigger display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a bit more pixels per screen inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 takes better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality photos and videos, a much higher (4K) video resolution, a camera with a much better 16 MP resolution and a larger aperture to take better low-light captures and videos.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has much more storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a superior battery duration than Google Nexus 5, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.
