These phones have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has newer 10 version and Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0, giving you a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Huawei Mate 30 Pro's design is way newer, but heavier and a little thicker than the Galaxy Note 4.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM and 4 more CPU cores. Galaxy Note 4 features a better looking display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a slightly higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels, a much bigger camera aperture for better low-light captures and video, a much bigger back camera sensor and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
