Samsung Galaxy Note9 features better battery duration than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3220mAh. The Galaxy Note9 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has a lower video resolution and a lot lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
