The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than the Google Nexus 5, getting a 79.3 score against 76. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 body is newer and somewhat thinner, but way heavier than Google Nexus 5. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a newer 5.1 version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version, giving a couple additional features and performance improvements.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with just a bit better display than Google Nexus 5, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440, a little bit greater display pixel density and a little larger screen. Galaxy Note 5 features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity.

Google Nexus 5 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU and a greater number of faster cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with improved battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 30% greater battery capacity.
