The Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, having an 81.3 score against 79.3. The Google Pixel XL body is newer and just a little lighter, but also thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a little bit better screen than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a quite lower pixels number in each inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a quite larger display.

The Google Pixel XL features just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Google Pixel XL also has a greater number of cores. Google Pixel XL features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 128 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera and a bigger aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light situations.

Google Pixel XL has just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
