Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is a bit better than Huawei P20's overall score of 78.1. Galaxy Note 5 is a a little bit heavier phone than the Huawei P20, but both of them have the same thickness. Both devices in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Huawei P20 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei P20 also has a larger number of cores. Galaxy Note 5 has a brighter screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels density and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Huawei P20 and Galaxy Note 5 have quite similar cameras, because although the Huawei P20 has a lower video resolution and a back facing camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and video and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

The Huawei P20 counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei P20 has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei P20, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
