Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than LG V20's 77 score. Galaxy Note 5 is a a little lighter phone than LG V20, but both are 0.3inches thick. The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a more vivid screen than LG V20. Both have a display of the same size, an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution and the same display pixels density.

LG V20 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG V20 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. LG V20 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the LG V20 also has a higher number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than LG V20, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality.

LG V20 has a little better battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V20. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get LG V20, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
