Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an overall score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is an much older device than OnePlus 8, but Samsung managed to make it a bit lighter and a bit thinner. The OnePlus 8 features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has just a bit better screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better pixel amount per inch in the screen. The OnePlus 8 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has more internal memory capacity.

OnePlus 8 has a better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot better 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and higher video frame rates.

OnePlus 8 features a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Galaxy Note 5 is more expensive than OnePlus 8, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
