Samsung Galaxy A12 has a global score of 80.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 5's global score of 79.3. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A12 has the newer 10 version while Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version, so it gives you some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Even though Samsung Galaxy A12 is incredibly newer than Galaxy Note 5, it's somewhat heavier and thicker.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better pixels count per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a higher number of cores (and also faster).

Galaxy A12 has a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A12 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Galaxy A12 features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 67 percent greater battery capacity.

The Galaxy A12 takes slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photographs and video in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera.
