Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 global score. Even though Sony Xperia 5 is just a little thicker than the Galaxy Note 5, it's just a bit lighter and also a lot newer. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a much better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Sony Xperia 5 features a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.

Sony Xperia 5 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Xperia 5 counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, letting go some features and specifications.
