The Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1's 78.3 score. Even being the best device in this comparison, we must highlight that it is also way older, a bit thicker and a bit heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a superior processing power than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has more cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a brighter screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a little bit larger screen, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a quite greater count of pixels in each inch in the display. Sony Xperia XZ1 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures and videos and a better resolution back camera.

The Xperia XZ1 has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
