Comparison review

Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 5, getting a general score of 79.6 against 79.3. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version. Xperia XZ3's construction is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Note 5's, but it's notably thicker and somewhat heavier.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a little bit better looking display than Xperia XZ3, although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, a quite smaller display and a bit worse 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Xperia XZ3 features a better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has more cores.

Xperia XZ3 has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ3 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia XZ3 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Xperia XZ3 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a better resolution camera and a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note 5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
