Comparison review
Galaxy Note 5 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having a general score of 79.3 against 76.4. Even though Galaxy Note 5 is older and heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s, it's body is still just a little bit thinner. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 5 has the previous 5.1 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440, a just a bit higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit larger display. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a superior memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also has more processing cores. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Galaxy Note 5 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality photographs, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back and a larger aperture to take better low light photos and videos.
Galaxy Note 5 costs more than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
