The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a global score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 10's global score of 78.9. Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is way older and a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 10, it's design is still a little lighter. These devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an older 5.0 version and Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a little higher screen pixel density. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has less processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a much smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a bigger back camera sensor and a camera with lot more MP.
Huawei Mate 10 has improved battery performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some specifications.
