Comparison review
Galaxy Note Edge is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a global score of 81.7 against 78.7. The Galaxy Note Edge design is much older, just a bit heavier and just a bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note Edge has the older 5.0 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Galaxy Note Edge features a better looking display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little worse display density, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a little bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 4 lesser processing cores and 3 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy Note Edge shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video definition, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same camera aperture, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with a lot better 16 mega-pixels resolution.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 33% more battery capacity.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is also by far the cheapest.
