Comparison review
Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 global score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10. Galaxy Note Edge's construction is just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than Huawei P40 Lite, even though it was released many years before.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a much better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better pixel density. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and lesser cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The Huawei P40 Lite features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a much more MP camera in the back, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and video and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Huawei P40 Lite features a much better battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 40 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note Edge, else you can save some money and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning a couple specifications.
