The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a global score of 81.7, which is a bit better than Moto G8 Plus's general score of 77.6. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is extremely older than the Moto G8 Plus, it's construction is a little bit thinner and a little lighter. Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has 1 GB less RAM and less processing cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a way better screen than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater display density. The Moto G8 Plus captures better photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Moto G8 Plus also has a lot bigger camera aperture to take better low light images and videos, a lot more MP camera in the back and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.

The Moto G8 Plus features a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Moto G8 Plus features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 33 percent larger battery capacity.
