Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J8's 76.7 overall score. Although Galaxy Note Edge is incredibly older and just a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy J8, it's body is still a little bit lighter. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note Edge has older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has lesser cpu cores and 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy Note Edge has a much better screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixel quantity per display inch and a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Samsung Galaxy J8 has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy J8 has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 17 percent bigger battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and/or video in low light situations, and they both have a back facing camera with a 16 mega pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a bigger sensor and a way higher (4K) video definition.
