Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the Galaxy Note Edge, getting a score of 85 against 81.7. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M40 has newer 10 version and Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy M40 is a newer phone, and it's also a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Galaxy Note Edge.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better display pixels density and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. Galaxy M40 has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a lot bigger aperture and a much higher 32 MP resolution camera in the back.
