Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note3's 77.7 general score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note Edge has a more recent 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Note3 has Android 4.4.2, offering a couple nice extra features and improved performance. Galaxy Note Edge's body has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Note3, but it is just a bit heavier.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Note Edge also has an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy Note3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Galaxy Note3 features a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a SD extension slot that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note Edge features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs and a higher 16 MP resolution camera in the back.

The Galaxy Note3 counts with a little better battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 7% larger battery capacity.
