Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's global score of 79. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note Edge has newer 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, so it provides you some additional features. Galaxy Note Edge's body is newer than the Samsung Galaxy S4's, but it's a bit thicker and noticeably heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440, a little higher display density and a little bit larger screen. The Galaxy S4 has a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has an external SD slot that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a larger amount of RAM and a better graphics processor working at 500 MHz. The Galaxy Note Edge has just a little better battery performance than Galaxy S4, because it has a 15% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a way higher video quality, a more mega pixels camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S4, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
