Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 score. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a just a bit thicker and heavier cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S5. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2, offering some additional features and better performance.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixel density. Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy S5. Both of them have the same number of cores, a 3 GB RAM memory and a 500 megahertz graphics processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has as much storage to store more apps and games as Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, both of them have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB and exactly the same 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy S5 features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Both have the same camera sensor size, a F2.2 aperture, the same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The Galaxy Note Edge costs a little more money than Samsung Galaxy S5, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
