Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus's general score of 78.1. Despite being the best we are comparing, the Galaxy Note Edge is a heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Plus. Both devices we are comparing work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note Edge has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, so it provides you a couple additional features.

Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a 500 MHz graphics co-processor and 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a bit higher pixel amount in each display inch and a little bit larger display.

The Galaxy Note Edge captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. Both of them have the same (4K) video definition, a 16 megapixels resolution camera, the same video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and a 0.38 inches sensor. The Galaxy Note Edge features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB, the Galaxy Note Edge also has 32 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning some specs and features.
