The Galaxy Z Flip has a score of 88.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note Edge's global score of 81.7. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Flip has a newer 12 version while Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it offers some extra features. The Galaxy Z Flip body is newer and somewhat thinner, but a little heavier than Galaxy Note Edge.
Galaxy Z Flip features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels density and a bit higher 2560 x 1440px resolution.
Galaxy Z Flip captures a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a much lower 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a larger diafragm aperture for better photos in low light environments.
The Galaxy Z Flip counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Z Flip has just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, resigning some specifications.
