The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a general score of 85.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 general score. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a more recent 11 version and Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a much newer and thinner cellphone than Galaxy Note Edge, although it is a little heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a brighter display than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater display density and a bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and 4 more cpu cores. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Note Edge takes a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs in low light environments, it also counts with a camera with a lot better resolution.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Flip 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, resigning some specifications.
