Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an overall score of 94.6, which is much better than Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 general score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version while Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you some additional features and performance optimizations. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is heavier than Galaxy Note Edge, it's thinner and newer.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a lot lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lower video quality, it also counts with a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture for better images and video in low-light environments.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note Edge. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note Edge, resigning a couple features and specifications.
