Comparison review

The Xperia 1 V is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, getting an 82.7 score against 81.7. The Xperia 1 V is a just a little heavier device than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, but both of them are equally thin. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 V has a newer 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0, giving some nice extra features and performance optimizations.

Galaxy Note Edge features a way better performance than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 9 GB less RAM, it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Note Edge features a more vivid screen than Xperia 1 V, although it has a quite smaller display, a little inferior amount of pixels per inch of screen and a way worse 2560 x 1440 resolution.

The Xperia 1 V takes a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia 1 V also has faster 120 fps video frame rate, a much higher resolution camera, a bigger aperture to take better low-light photos and a way larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Xperia 1 V has a much better storage for apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xperia 1 V has a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
