Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 score. These phones use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge construction is thinner and somewhat lighter than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, even though it was released 4 years before.
The Galaxy Note Edge counts with a better display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a higher amount of pixels per inch of display. Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 3 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 400 GB and 32 GB more internal memory. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 19 percent greater battery capacity.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus shoots clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a larger camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos, a much better resolution camera and a bigger aperture for better photography in low-light situations.
