Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Edge is a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, getting a global score of 81.7 against 79.8. Galaxy Note Edge is an a lot older and a bit thicker cellphone than the Xperia XZ Premium, but Samsung was able to build it just a little lighter anyway. The Xperia XZ Premium has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a way higher display density.
Galaxy Note Edge features just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has 4 less processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU. Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality pictures, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low light environments and a higher resolution camera.
Xperia XZ Premium features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has more internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 3230mAh of battery capacity.
