Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's general score of 76.6. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's body is somewhat lighter and a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it was released 6 years before.
Galaxy Note Edge features a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Note Edge has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has 4 less CPU cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a graphics co-processor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a back camera with lot more megapixels and a much bigger sensor taking way higher quality videos and pictures.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 67% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note Edge is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
