IPhone 8 has a general score of 85, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's general score of 80.4. IPhone 8's design is lighter and a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, even though they were released only 3 months apart. Apple iPhone 8 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has 2 less cpu cores (although faster) and 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little bit better looking screen than iPhone 8, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560px, a bigger screen and a much higher screen pixels density. The Apple iPhone 8 features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a superior battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 3200mAh battery size instead of 1821mAh. The iPhone 8 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking less light and washed colors and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light captures, and they both have a camera with a 12 mega pixels and the same (4K) video resolution, the iPhone 8 also counts with faster video frame rate.
IPhone 8 costs more than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
