Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a general score of 80.4, which is just a bit better than the LG V30's 79.1 score. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition construction is a bit heavier and a little bit thicker than the LG V30. LG V30 features just a bit better display than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a little bit larger display, a little greater pixels density and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2880.
LG V30 has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG V30 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG V30 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note Fan Edition. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
LG V30 features a little longer battery life than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity. The LG V30 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG V30 also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low light situations and a lot higher 16 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V30. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the LG V30, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
