Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a general score of 76.1, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note II's score of 73.1. Even though Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note II were released with only a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy S4 is somewhat thinner and notably lighter. Both of these phones come with the same Android 4.4.2 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note II also has a faster graphics processing unit working at 1.06 GHz. Galaxy S4 has a brighter screen than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot better pixels number per inch in the screen.

Galaxy Note II features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note II also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S4 takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S4 also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Even being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S4 is also by far the cheapest one.
