Samsung Galaxy Note II Review

Samsung Galaxy Note II is an incredibly powerful Android device released some years ago, in 2012, which features a 5.5" capacitive display, an extremely fast Quad-Core processor running at 1.6 GHz, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 1.9 MP front camera.

Samsung decided to power this phone using a Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) chip, packing a very powerful 1600 MHz Quad-Core processor with a big 2 GB of RAM. To handle graphic intensive games and apps, this cellphone also uses an ARM Mali-400 MP4 GPU running at 266 MHz. This cellphone counts with a big 32 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing the user to install hundreds of applications without worrying about running out of space at all.

This phone is very slim, with a thickness of just 0.37". This cellphone is just 5.94" long, but it manages to hold a 5.5 inches display. This cellphone is offerred in three different colors, pink, blue and white. Samsung has made an amazing design job making this device weight just 6.44 ounces.

The Note II is equipped with a interesting 5.5" screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this device with a nice image quality. This screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This phone features wifi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed internet connection and also HSPA+ connection type, a bit slower 4G type and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.9 mega-pixels front side camera. It can also capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also has some good characteristics: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting and fast burst mode.

This phone counts with a 3100 mAh large Li-Ion battery providing this cellphone an amazing battery life. This device has an aproximate talk time of 35 hours and a stand by time of 980 hours.

The Note II also comes with plenty of useful features as Wireless charging, Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

Samsung sells this phone for $ 200, which is quite high for a cellphone this level. It doesn't matter whether you want a social phone, will use it as a gaming cellphone, want this cellphone to take many pictures or are looking for a device for work, you will probably be very pleased with it.
