Samsung Galaxy Note II Review

Samsung Galaxy Note II is a breath-taking cellphone released in 2012, packed with an enormous 5.5-inches multi touch screen, a high speed 1.6 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.9 MP front camera. Let's take a closer look at what this cellphone offers to us.

Samsung decided to build the Note II using a Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) system chip, which holds a great 1600 MHz Quad-Core CPU with a great 2 GB of RAM. To handle graphic intensive tasks, it also uses a 266 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP4 GPU. The Note II comes with an interesting 16 GB internal storage and an SD extension slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred games and applications without any trouble.

This device has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.37". While this phone just has 5.94" long, it still manages to contain a 5.5 inches display. Samsung made this phone in 2 colors, blue and white. Samsung did an excellent design job making this phone as lightweight as 6.42 ounces.

Samsung equipped this cellphone with a interesting 5.5-inches display, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes all pictures and movies look colorful and brightful. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone offers Wi-Fi capability (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G fast data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, a slower 4G network and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. The Note II doesn't have a sim card, because it is not a GSM device and it works with CDMA networks.

This device is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 1.9 MP front side camera. It is also able to shoot videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps. This device also includes flash.

This cellphone has a huge 3100 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with a great battery duration.

This phone also includes a wide range of great characteristics as Wireless charging system, NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This phone is a little bit overvalued considering it is priced 259 dollars, and other similar phones are being sold cheaper than that. The Samsung Galaxy Note II is the right choice it doesn't matter whether you you love taking pictures, will use it as a social cellphone, want a work cellphone or want it for gaming.
