Both of these phones use Android OS, but Galaxy S6 Edge has newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Note II has Android 4.1, so it provides lots of additional features. The Galaxy S6 Edge is a newer cellphone, and it is also noticeably thinner and noticeably lighter than the Galaxy Note II.
