Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 77.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note II's 74.8 score. Both of these phones include the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system). Galaxy S4 is a thinner and a lot lighter cellphone than the Galaxy Note II, even though both of them were released only 7 months apart.

Galaxy Note II counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S4, and although they both have 4 cores and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Note II also has a much better GPU running at 1064 megahertz. Galaxy S4 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a much greater display density.

The Galaxy Note II counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note II also has 64 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note II has superior battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has a 3100mAh battery capacity.

Galaxy S4 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy S4 also has a back camera with a way higher 13 megapixels resolution.

Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note II cost the same, which makes it a simple decision.
