The Asus ROG Phone has a general score of 77.1, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note II's 74.8 general score. The Asus ROG Phone design is much newer and a little bit thinner, but also a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note II. The Asus ROG Phone features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note II, because it has a way higher 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, a way better count of pixels per inch of screen and a quite larger screen.

Asus ROG Phone has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and more cores. The Asus ROG Phone has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Note II takes much better photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition. The Asus ROG Phone counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has a 29 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note II. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note II, letting go some features and specifications.
