The Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note II's global score of 74.8. Huawei Mate 8's body is noticeably newer and thinner than Galaxy Note II's, but it's also a bit heavier. Huawei Mate 8 has a little faster CPU than Galaxy Note II, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 8, although it has much less pixels per display inch, a way lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen. Huawei Mate 8 features a very superior camera than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a lot better 16 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.

The Huawei Mate 8 features a much better memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Note II, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 8 has better battery performance than Galaxy Note II, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note II. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Note II, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
