The Galaxy Alpha is a bit better than Galaxy Note II, having a 76.3 score against 74.8. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Alpha has the newer 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Note II has Android 4.4.2, offering some extra features. Galaxy Alpha's construction is noticeably thinner and lighter than Galaxy Note II.
