Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is slightly better than the Galaxy Note II, getting a general score of 79.3 against 74.8. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a newer 5.1 version and Galaxy Note II has Android 4.4.2, so it counts with lots of additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 construction is incredibly newer, somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Galaxy Note II.

Galaxy Note II has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with 3 more CPU cores (although they are slower) and an additional graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has a much better quantity of pixels per screen inch, a way better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little larger screen.

Samsung Galaxy Note II has a way bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note II also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Galaxy Note II features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3100mAh battery size.

The Galaxy Note 5 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has a lot more mega pixels back camera and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note II. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Note II, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
