Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note II's score of 74.8. Both of these devices use the same Android 4.4.2 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. The Galaxy S5 is a newer device, and it is also notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Note II.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a lot better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a way better 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a slower graphics co-processor, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with 1 GB more RAM.
