Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a general score of 77.8, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note II's global score of 74.8. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a newer phone, and it is also a little bit thinner and lighter than Galaxy Note II. Both of these phones come with the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding operating system features.

Galaxy S5 Sport features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Note II, although it has a slower 450 megahertz graphics processing unit, they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM memory. Galaxy S5 Sport has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot greater screen density.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has a much better resolution camera and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note II features a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 3100mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

Although Galaxy S5 Sport is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note II. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note II, letting go some specs and features.
